Whether by choice or by default, birthing your breech baby by cesarean can still be a choice that you make for any number of reasons. These reasons can be due to unavailability of a competent attendant, lack of faith or just plain fear. You can still make the birth of your breech baby the best you can. With support and care you can birth and feel good that you have made the right choice and that the choice has not been forced upon you, even if your choices are restricted you can still be informed. You might even be relieved that you have the choice to birth by cesarean and forgo labor all together. One should still become informed about the risk factors associated with surgical birth so that no surprises occur and that you are prepared should "something happen".
