These are births that occur under the
power of the mother. Most of the time the mother is following her
own instincts to birth her baby. All the births are un-medicated and
occur either in hospital, birth center or at home.

These births are a collection of births
that are conducted under the guidance of hospital personnel. The
interventions included in many of these births are, anesthesia
(epidural), narcotic analgesia, episiotomy, continuous monitoring,
manipulation of the emerging baby, stirrups, intravenous (IV), and
cesarean.
